As an Interior Designer, I always tell my clients if you have to ask for the price... we should move on.  Furniture that is classic, uniquely different, hand crafted, or has become a symbol of design is always going to be for those with equity in the bank.  Since my preference is contemporary or actually ultra modern... I'm always searching for that museum piece of furniture.  Some of the chairs and or couches are re-makes from iconic designers like le corbusier and mies van der rohe.  Take a look below and see if we can find a style for you!

Interiors for Men

It's been a while since I posted design styles for the Men... but tonight I thought I would catch up.  The trend that I have been seeing over and over is very contemporary with a touch of minimalist.  Men also tend to like the low rider style of sofa seating.  Leather is the choice most time chosen for material.  Metal, chrome, wood and glass is often featured throughout the design scheme.  A color that I love for any interior design is gray... the different shades highlight a crisp, sophisticated and clean look.   Here are some pieces of work that I find interesting.  If you like or agree, post your comments.

For the 2011 Bachelor...

For 2011 I've been researching the many Interior Design styles for the single man.  Weather it is a studio, penthouse or loft... I think these interiors will capture the inner soul.  Design elements for the metro man, new yorker, or those who have a  home in the Hollywood hills, usual cater to clean lines, glass, and simplicity.  Well that's our opinion anyway.

Lil Wayne... and Interior Design

In my quest for trying to find entertainers, entrepreneurs, basketball players, or the general public... who understand the principals of interior design or who would hire a Black Interior Designer, I came upon Lil Wayne's Miami Condo. I was surprised and very impressed at the same time as I journeyed through his elegant, slick, contemporary and sophisticated home.
